For a country known for its beautiful mountains, the Gangetic flat lands of the Terai that stretches through out the southern part of Nepal provide a wholly different experience.

Chitwan Corak Trek has been identified for the purpose to promote Tamang & Chepang Villagers as well as it offers magnificent sunrise and sunset views from the Onewang hill which is around 1675 meter high from the sea level. The trek from the Hardi to Onewang to Bhandara is exciting with Easy Trail & Challenging steep climb, crossing the streams/ hanging bridges, ridges and intact vegetation of flora & fauna.

The views of the mountains are spectacular and the route actually crosses to the other side of the main himalayan range for some unusual views of the northern flanks.

Wide range of Himalayas in the likes of Peak 29, Annapurna range, Gorkha Himal, Gaurishankar, Rolwaling, rare view of flatlands. Cultural experiences of Mostly Tamang & Chepang and few other ethnic groups, intact vegetation of flora & fauna, home stay and other natural attractions make this trail a must to visit & its help to develop the villager’s daily life.
